the long weekend...

   My long weekend was pretty decent. On Saturday my grandma came over and we made dinner and ate together. Then on Sunday we took a trip to a water park, we stayed there till Monday. The water park was huge. It had a gift shop, a lazy river, and huge slides that my whole family went on together on a huge raft. Then the next day we ate breakfast at a restaurant that had a nice view on the whole water park, when we finished breakfast we went down to the water park. My dad and my sister went under the big bucket the drops a lot of water on you, like a huge waterfall. The me, my sister, and my mom went on one of the big slides where you have to go on a raft and go through. Then we made our way to the lazy river. When it was about six o’clock we change and packed all of our belongings to get ready to leave the water park.

   The drive back home was not that long, it was just a few hours. When we finally arrived home we unpacked the car and went inside. The next day we stayed home all day. My dad started the fire in the fireplace to heat up the house. While my mom was cooking pumpkin. When my mom was done cooking the pumpkin she served it. We all sat on the couch eating our warm pumpkin by the fire. Then my mom had the idea of making a cake and cupcakes since my sisters birthday was coming up, we were throwing her an early birthday. Once the cake and cupcakes were done we sat by the fire eating our slice of cake with a miniature cupcake. When everyone was tired my dad put out the fire and we all went to bed...

   I am so excited for Thanksgiving Break because I love when the whole family gets together because  I have a big family. Then when everyone is at home my dad lights up the fireplace and we all sit together at the table to eat. HALLOWEEN NIGHT...

   This Halloween I went as a witch, my dad went as the little boy from the movie Coco, my sister went as the grandma from Coco, and my mom did not dress up. My dad went trick-or-treating with me and my sister, we went all the way across the train to Heritage and back. My sister and I collected a whole lot of candy. My dad also brought my dog with us who was dressed as a chicken. When we arrived back at the house, me and my sister helped my mom give out candy. Then we all watched the Adams family, eating some candy. Then we went upstairs when we thought no one was going to come and went to bed.

The Quest for the Rainbow Bagel

   I just watched a video about a person who’s name is Zach Anner. He is on a quest to get a Rainbow Bagel from the Bagel Store, but the problem was not all parts of New York are accessible for people like him. Zach was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy which affects body movement and muscle coordination, which leads to him having to get around with a wheel chair. Zach couldn’t go down stairs, which was common in New York. He had to go down with either an elevator or a ramp if he could find any. It took Zach about seven hours  to get from his hotel room to the bagel store. Zach had to go on a train, and even ride a boat just to get to the bagel store. Many people throughout the quest treated Zach differently, they ignored him. Zach was trying to get their attention, but they ignored him as if he wasn’t even there.
