The Quest for the Rainbow Bagel

I just watched a video about a person who’s name is Zach Anner. He is on a quest to get a Rainbow Bagel from the Bagel Store, but the problem was not all parts of New York are accessible for people like him. Zach was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy which affects body movement and muscle coordination, which leads to him having to get around with a wheel chair. Zach couldn’t go down stairs, which was common in New York. He had to go down with either an elevator or a ramp if he could find any. It took Zach about seven hours  to get from his hotel room to the bagel store. Zach had to go on a train, and even ride a boat just to get to the bagel store. Many people throughout the quest treated Zach differently, they ignored him. Zach was trying to get their attention, but they ignored him as if he wasn’t even there. When Zach finally got to the Bagel Store he enjoyed his rainbow bagel, he thought about how hard it was just to take a short quest. The main problem of his quest was the path he

Blackfish review

Blackfish was very bias saying that killer whales should go back to the ocean, and I agree with them. The blackfish documentary helped me understand that whales should be let go. 1) because the whales are killing trainers, 2) because SeaWorld has very small pools and whales are not used to swimming close to the surface, 3) When the fisherman are capturing the whales they take them away from their families and their home. After watching the documentary I have more reasons on why the killer whales should be let back to the ocean.

Killer whales argument ...

Today I have to write about articles that I am reading about killer whales and the positives and negatives of them living in pools in marine parks. “Killer whales in Sea World parks die early. But killer whales in the wild live as long as humans.” That’s what the first article said that shows the negatives of whales living unhealthy, and also according to the Blackfish documentary about SeaWorld’s killer whale program. This program is used to “convince the audience that killer whales, orcas, suffer when forced to live in man-made pools,” according to the article. But Sea World Entertainment says killer whales in the pool have life spans similar to those of wild orcas in the ocean. The company says it provides the whales a healthy home for the 29 orcas that are kept in four marine parks. It’s captive collection is the largest on the planet! But the truth is not nearly as simple as either side claims. The fact is that scientist don’t know for sure how long killer whales live. “This is a

Should there be school uniforms?

I think there should be school uniforms because...1) School uniforms make everybody feel welcome and included, 2)It shows the community we are school students, 3)Everday you know what to wear, 4)There is no competition between the students, 5)Since the students dress the same it prevents bullying based on the clothes they wear. Here is evidence and extra reasons why school uniforms are good and better... School Uniforms: the good & the bad! - Trusted Clothes

My word for 2019

My Word for 2019    My word for 2019 is going to be something that means studying more for school and focusing on getting good grades. My word is going to be something like “focus” or “study.” I think it will be focus, because I will focus on mostly school so I can go all the way through school and get a good career. That is my goal.
